Senior PC Application Software Engineer

About the role

Senior PC Application Software Engineer will develop motor design and test tools, perform analysis and design for engineering applications, and create end‑user‑oriented GUI interfaces within EDGE’s POWERTECH centre of excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop motor design and test tools to satisfy requirement specifications.
• Perform analysis and design activities for engineering applications.
• Design user‑focused GUI interfaces or define GUI design processes.
• Develop tools that meet qualification needs for certification processes.
• Coordinate with system, test, and certification teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with C#, Python and C++.
• Strong knowledge of object‑oriented software development and design patterns.
• Experience with IDEs such as Visual Studio, PyCharm and Qt.
• Familiarity with version control, DevOps/CI‑CD, requirements engineering and software documentation.
• Understanding of software quality, testing, configuration management and DO‑178C objectives.
