Senior Piping Construction Engineer (PMC) – Habshan

About the role

This position is for a senior PMC Piping Construction Engineer responsible for overseeing all on‑site piping activities for a high‑profile client in Habshan, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to ADNOC quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise EPC contractor piping construction, validate sequences, work packs and resource plans.
• Champion ADNOC’s Zero Incident safety culture, conduct audits, risk assessments and intervene on unsafe acts.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications and international codes; review inspections, tests and certifications.
• Act as primary PMC interface with EPC contractors, review progress reports and support commercial teams on variations and claims.
• Track construction progress against baseline schedules, identify critical path issues and provide recovery plans.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, commissioning and operations to resolve technical queries and manage interfaces.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of oil & gas project experience, including at least 5 years in a PMC role on ADNOC or similar Middle East projects.
• Proven experience on large‑scale EPC/EPCM projects (CAPEX > USD 500M).

Required skills

• EPC/EPCM project management for piping.
• Familiarity with ADNOC standards, specifications and work practices.
• Construction oversight, work pack validation and resource planning.
• HSE leadership and incident investigation.
• QA/QC processes, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and Non‑Conformance Report (NCR) handling.
