Senior Planner

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Planner to join its UAE project controls team. The role supports a portfolio of infrastructure, leisure, hospitality, airport, highway, retail and commercial projects, delivering performance reporting and analysis for high‑profile real‑estate developments.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cost and planning engineers to create work breakdown structures and robust performance baselines.
• Establish and maintain progress and cost monitoring methods across multiple project types.
• Produce regular project control reports, performance dashboards and variance analyses.
• Provide actionable recommendations to clients and act as the primary day‑to‑day contact for project controls matters.
• Support earned‑value, change and risk management processes and ensure compliance with governance standards.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education (preferred) with solid experience in project controls within the real‑estate sector (hospitality, commercial, residential, healthcare, leisure, events).
• Proven experience in at least one of programme controls management, earned‑value management, change & risk management, planning or PMO functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a rigorous approach to documented processes.
• Ability to innovate and adapt solutions to evolving project environments.
