Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to lead cost and schedule control for a major EPC project in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures safe, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery while supporting the Project Controls Manager and the owner’s team.

Key responsibilities

• Champion project safety culture and HSSEQ objectives.
• Oversee budget, cost, estimating, progress measurement and forecasting for the EPC contractor.
• Review and validate the contractor’s Work Breakdown Structure, schedules, and measurement weight factors.
• Monitor and control project costs, schedules, deliverables and productivity.
• Verify contractor payment requests, supporting documentation and milestone achievements.
• Provide functional support to the Project Controls Manager, PMC and owner teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in planning, cost control and project controls within EPC contracts.
• Strong understanding of HSSEQ standards and safety culture.
• Ability to analyse and resolve planning and financial issues.
• Excellent communication with contractors, owners and internal stakeholders.
