Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a Senior Planning Engineer in Dubai within the oil and gas sector. The role covers developing and monitoring project schedules, coordinating project planning with stakeholders and providing analytical support through progress tracking and delay analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update project schedules using Primavera or MS Project
• Monitor project progress and provide forecasts
• Prepare weekly and monthly project reports
• Conduct delay analysis and prepare extension of time (EOT) claims
• Support tender planning and proposal schedules
• Coordinate with engineering and site teams for accurate updates
• Perform resource loading and progress tracking
• Advise management on schedule risks and mitigation plans

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil preferred)
• Certified and registered engineer
• Minimum 5 years of planning experience
• Experience in large-scale construction projects
• Familiarity with the project lifecycle and methodologies

Required skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project
• Strong analytical and time management skills
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities
