Senior Planning Engineer – Joinery

About the role

The Senior Planning Engineer will lead project planning and scheduling for high‑profile joinery projects within United Al Saqer Group’s dedicated workshop. You will work closely with procurement, finance, and on‑site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Monitor progress, update schedules, and identify critical path activities.
• Coordinate material and equipment availability with the procurement team.
• Assess risks, propose mitigation strategies, and address issues impacting timelines.
• Prepare regular progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Evaluate change requests, adjust schedules, and collaborate with project managers.
• Support quality assurance by aligning schedules with safety and quality protocols.
• Work with finance to monitor costs, forecast budgets, and track expenses.

Required profile

• At least 60 months (5 years) of relevant planning or scheduling experience.
