About the role

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑grade cloud platforms for a global cloud infrastructure provider. The role will focus on building Kubernetes‑as‑a‑Service and managed data services at massive scale for customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

Design, engineer and operate Kubernetes‑as‑a‑Service and Managed Data Platform services for global enterprise clients.
Architect and maintain managed PostgreSQL, MySQL, Kafka and Redis offerings using production‑grade operators such as CloudNativePG, Crunchy Data, Zalando, Percona and Strimzi.
Own day‑to‑day reliability, backup (pgBackRest, Sentinel), disaster‑recovery, scaling and connection‑pooling strategies.
Implement multi‑tenant security controls including mTLS, automated credential rotation, IAM integration, secure parameter baselines and image vulnerability management.

Required profile

Proven experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering or DevOps/SRE roles supporting large‑scale cloud services.
Expert‑level hands‑on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift and underlying cloud infrastructure frameworks such as OpenStack.
Strong foundation in Linux internals, networking, DNS, PKI, load balancing and storage integrations (Cinder, Manila, S3‑compatible).
