Senior PMC Engineer – Maintenance Operations & Readiness

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Senior Engineer to lead Maintenance Operations and Readiness for new offshore facilities and brownfield projects on the ADNOC programme in Abu Dhabi. The role involves developing maintenance strategies, ensuring asset integrity and supporting commissioning and start‑up activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute Maintenance Readiness Plans for offshore and brownfield projects.
• Review engineering deliverables for maintainability, operability and reliability.
• Establish preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, including RCM, FMEA and RBM.
• Prepare SAP PM/CMMS data: equipment hierarchy, functional locations, master data, PM plans and task lists.
• Coordinate with engineering, EPC contractors, operations, commissioning and vendors during execution.
• Verify spare‑parts strategy, warehouse readiness and critical spare availability.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, mechanical completion, commissioning and pre‑startup safety reviews.
• Lead root‑cause failure analysis for major equipment failures and monitor maintenance KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15+ years of oil & gas maintenance experience, including 5+ years offshore.
• Proven experience with operations readiness, commissioning, maintenance planning and asset management.
• Familiarity with ADNOC, major EPC contractors or international oil companies preferred.
• Strong knowledge of offshore production facilities (rotating, static, electrical, instrumentation, safety systems).
