Senior Presales Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and technically versatile Senior Pre‑Sales Engineer with deep domain expertise in core enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, and public‑private sector procurement cycles across the UAE and GCC markets. The role acts as the technical bridge between our sales team, Tier‑1 vendors, and regional government and semi‑government clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end technical responses for complex RFPs, RFQs and ITTs issued by UAE/GCC federal departments, municipalities and enterprise accounts.
• Design scalable, high‑availability architectures across server, storage, virtualization and networking layers, ensuring compliance with regional regulations such as NESA/SCA and ISR.
• Develop and deliver PoCs, technical presentations and product demonstrations to meet strict government evaluation benchmarks.
• Collaborate with Tier‑1 vendors (Dell, HPE, Cisco, VMware, Fortinet) to secure competitive pricing, OEM support and deal registration.
• Create accurate Bill of Materials and costing aligned with tender financial budgets and technical specifications.

Required profile

• Minimum 4–6 years of pre‑sales experience within an IT System Integrator or Value‑Added Distributor operating in the UAE/GCC channel ecosystem.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., VCP, CCNA/CCNP, CISSP) are a strong plus.
• Proven track record of managing mid‑to‑large‑scale government and semi‑government IT tenders, adhering to strict submission deadlines and compliance criteria.
• Exceptional client‑facing presentation and stakeholder management skills, able to engage with government evaluation committees, technical directors and CXOs.

Required skills

• Enterprise servers, SAN/NAS storage arrays and virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Nutanix AHV, Microsoft Hyper‑V).
• Networking fundamentals: routing, switching, VLANs, LAN/WAN architectures and basic SD‑WAN concepts.
• Cybersecurity foundations: Next‑Gen firewalls, endpoint protection, IAM and familiarity with GCC frameworks (NESA, NCA, ISR).
• Regional tender processing and proposal writing, including compliance with ICV and SLA requirements.
