Senior Pricing Manager – FMCG

About the role

Majid Al Futtaim Holding is seeking a Senior Pricing Manager to lead pricing strategy across its FMCG retail operations in the UAE and other operating countries. You will shape pricing policies, support new product launches, and ensure profitability while maintaining market leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Determine feasibility and optimal pricing for new products in close collaboration with the sourcing team.
• Monitor and analyse profitability of sections/departments for each pricing strategy across zones or clusters.
• Track pricing performance, assess financial impact, and implement corrective actions.
• Support and guide other MAF Retail countries on pricing processes and strategies.
• Advise UAE management on new pricing tactics to sustain market leadership.
• Act as liaison between consulting firms (e.g., McKinsey), MAF Holding, and Carrefour UAE on pricing matters.
• Manage promotional pricing, recommend leaflet prices and promo tactics to merchandise teams.
• Identify direct competitors for each store and schedule regular pricing surveys.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance or Marketing.
• 10+ years of experience in retail pricing.
• Full professional proficiency in English; limited working proficiency in Arabic preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
