Senior Process Engineer – Offshore EPC/Detail Design Projects

About the role

McDermott International seeks a Senior Process Engineer to lead offshore EPC and detail‑design projects. The role combines conceptual, FEED and detailed design activities, providing technical guidance to junior engineers and ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform conceptual, FEED, studies and detailed analyses and design in line with design basis and project specifications.
• Lead small projects as the Lead Engineer and support multidisciplinary teams to develop clash‑free designs.
• Prepare clear, accurate design calculations, reports and procedures.
• Manage own schedule to meet deadlines and budgets, and raise change notifications when scope varies.
• Interface with all disciplines and support variation orders and change management.

Required profile

• Minimum 96 months (8 years) of relevant process engineering experience in oil & gas.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively and communicate complex technical issues.
• Familiarity with project scope, specifications, schedule and inter‑disciplinary requirements.
