Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

The Senior Procurement Officer will lead purchasing and store activities across all divisions, ensuring that required products are supplied on time, within specifications and at optimal cost. This role oversees the end‑to‑end procurement process for general and civil construction materials while supporting the company’s e‑procurement platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce procurement policies, procedures and strategies in line with company guidelines.
• Monitor and control divisional requisitions, prepare monthly LPOs and cost‑saving reports.
• Evaluate suppliers on performance, delivery and pricing; resolve delivery, price and invoicing issues.
• Assist in CAPEX bidding, manage cost controls and oversee inventory stock‑takes.
• Coordinate with project, site and QA/QC teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with specifications.
• Supervise a team of purchasing officers, conduct quote comparisons and expand the vendor base.
• Maintain strategic supplier relationships and oversee procurement arrangements for civil construction materials.

Required profile

• Diploma or graduate degree in an engineering‑related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in general, spare‑parts or civil construction material procurement.
• Strong client‑relation, communication and organizational abilities.
• Thorough knowledge of corporate procurement procedures and good interpersonal skills.
