Senior Product Designer - Visual Direction & Design Systems

About the role

Easygenerator is looking for a senior product designer to lead the visual direction of its product suite and own the visual layer of its design system. The role sits in the platform team, with about 70% of the time spent on visual design and the design system and the rest on product design work. It is a long-term position based in Dubai, with hybrid and flexible working.

Key responsibilities

• Review current products and decide which visual inconsistencies to fix first.
• Define the visual language: typography, colour, layout and density, iconography, illustration and motion.
• Build the direction into the design system as components, including interaction states, transitions and micro-interactions.
• Turn the early visual direction into a documented standard for all squads.
• Work with other designers and engineering to get the system adopted across products.
• Design and ship product work for the platform team, working in code with tools such as Claude Code.

Required profile

• Senior or lead-level product design experience, with visual design as the strongest skill.
• A portfolio showing visual systems and the thinking behind them, beyond well-designed user flows.
• Experience building and maintaining a design system used by other designers and engineers.
• Experience customising and extending a code-based component library such as shadcn/ui, Radix or Material UI.
• Full professional English; the team is based in Dubai and Ukraine.

Required skills

• Comfortable working close to code; able to read HTML and CSS and understand how designs are built.
• Experience with motion and interaction design.
• Confidence presenting and defending design decisions to product managers and engineers.
• Nice to have: hands-on experience with Claude Code or a similar agentic coding tool, front-end development experience, and a background in brand or editorial design.
