Senior Product Engineer – Finacle Scripting

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Product Engineer specialized in Finacle Scripting to drive product customization, integration, and enhancement initiatives for our Finacle Core Banking platform. The role involves designing, developing, and delivering scalable Finacle solutions while adhering to architectural, security, and coding best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Finacle customizations, including new menus, reports (MRT & Jasper), batch jobs, and product menu changes.
• Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts, Finacle scripts, and PL/SQL objects (stored procedures, functions, triggers).
• Integrate Finacle with external systems using APIs, Connect24, and Finacle Integrator.
• Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders, and cross‑functional technical teams to translate requirements into high‑quality solutions.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, unit testing, and documentation practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with Finacle Core Banking (Finacle 11) and its customization framework.
• Strong understanding of banking domain processes and terminology.
• Proven experience in direct client interaction for requirement gathering and solution delivery.
• Ability to work independently and influence multiple technical teams.
