Senior Product Owner – Digital Onboarding

About the role

Al Hilal Bank is looking for a Senior Product Owner to lead the Digital Onboarding experience within its Retail Banking division. You will shape the product vision, drive agile delivery, and ensure compliance with Islamic banking principles while delivering exceptional customer value.

Key responsibilities

• Define and align the Digital Banking product vision with internal and external stakeholders, translating it into detailed roadmaps, value streams, and metrics.
• Lead the creation of product roadmaps, breaking them down into themes, epics, and user stories, and oversee their execution by agile squads.
• Develop and monitor operational, strategic, and agile metrics to track squad performance and product value.
• Conduct competitor and customer research, analyze data feedback loops, and prioritize technology and digital product delivery.
• Identify and remove blockers, manage dependencies and risks, and reduce technical debt while ensuring compliance with Islamic Banking Principles.
• Coach and mentor Product Owners on product lifecycle, road‑mapping, value realization, and risk management.
• Maintain and prioritize the backlog of user stories and epics in Jira, driving continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with users and stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into actionable product specifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in digital banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of agile and scaled‑agile frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional squads and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Experience with Islamic banking compliance is a plus.
