Senior Production Operations Engineer

About the role

Penspen is looking for a Senior Production Operations Engineer to join its PMC team in Abu Dhabi. The role supports an upstream oil & gas project, focusing on production engineering, well intervention and optimisation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for PMC activities on an ADNOC upstream project.
• Drive production optimisation, well performance monitoring and enhancement programmes.
• Plan and execute well interventions, rig‑less operations and artificial‑lift solutions.
• Manage well integrity, testing, logging and stimulation tasks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with ADNOC standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of upstream oil & gas experience with a strong production engineering background.
• Hands‑on experience in ADNOC on‑shore operations and familiarity with ADNOC standards.
• Proven track record in well intervention, rig‑less work and well integrity management.
