Senior Project Engineer – AV Integration

About the role

As a Senior Project Engineer you will lead the technical delivery of large, complex AV integration projects. You will ensure design completeness, coordinate documentation, and support installation and commissioning teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review preliminary design documents, scope of work and contracts for feasibility and quality.
• Create engineering deliverables with the CAD team, including infrastructure drawings, floor plans, ceiling plans, equipment placement, riser diagrams and elevations.
• Generate cable pull sheets, perform heat and power calculations, and assess structural requirements.
• Audit and finalize the Bill of Materials, approving line items once design is complete.
• Provide project managers with required engineering documents for submittal packages and monitor project budgets.
• Deliver technical updates, resolve on‑site questions, and assemble as‑built documentation and programming files.
• Mentor and cross‑train team members, ensuring delivery aligns with project goals and customer expectations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in AV integration and large‑scale project engineering.
• Proven ability to guide multidisciplinary teams through design, installation and close‑out phases.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on quality, feasibility and risk mitigation.

• CAD (computer‑aided design) for creating detailed drawings.
• Network coordination for AV systems.
