Senior Project Engineer - Offshore

About the role

Worley is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead offshore project coordination and delivery. The role bridges the technical gap between the Project Manager and engineering teams, ensuring that design and execution align with client expectations and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project plans, contractual arrangements, schedules, activities and milestones in line with Worley policies.
• Supervise project personnel through subordinate leaders and act as an assistant project manager with an engineering focus.
• Interpret designs, review bill of materials, project schedules and forecasts for accuracy.
• Manage multiple small projects, a medium project or a portion of a large/mega project, delivering technical solutions with multi‑discipline teams.
• Participate in constructability, operability and maintainability workshops and ensure compliance with safety‑by‑design principles.
• Serve as proposal manager for small to medium projects when required.
• Maintain communication tools and processes to keep all stakeholders informed of project status and performance indicators.

Required profile

• Engineering background with proven experience in project coordination or management.
• Strong commitment to health and safety, including participation in safety workshops.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to define teams, set objectives and motivate multi‑location members.
• Excellent communication skills to present alternatives, recommendations and project updates.
• Ability to ensure design teams comply with customer Basis of Design, codes and regulations.

Required skills

• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Understanding of safety‑by‑design, constructability and maintainability concepts.
• Familiarity with reviewing bills of materials, schedules and forecasts.
• Experience applying industry codes, standards and customer design bases.
• Proficiency in using Worley’s internal processes, tools and systems.
