Senior Project Manager - Construction

About the role

Morgan Consulting Engineers is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the entire lifecycle of a construction project, covering civil and hospital infrastructure. The role is senior leadership, requiring strong site management, stakeholder management and project delivery expertise. The position is based on-site full-time, with flexibility to travel between project locations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the consultant team during construction.
• Ensure the contractor delivers the project in line with design intent, specifications and contract terms, and aligns with the client's vision and goals.
• Act as the main liaison between client, contractor, consultants (architects, engineers, QS) and authorities.
• Chair project progress meetings, site coordination meetings and client briefings; review the construction schedule and progress, and flag delays with corrective actions.
• Review and approve design modifications and technical submittals, and supervise quality inspections and audits.
• Identify construction risks and ensure mitigation plans are in place.
• Supervise the site supervision consultant or engineer-of-record, including inspections, approvals and daily reports.
• Prepare and submit progress reports to the client.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• At least 12-15 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a project management role overseeing construction sites.
• Proven experience managing projects in healthcare, commercial, residential or institutional sectors.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, building codes and technical design principles.
• Proficiency in project management tools, AutoCAD/Revit and construction scheduling software.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
