Senior Project Manager – Elevators & Escalators

About the role

KONE is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead elevator and escalator projects in Dubai. Reporting to the Head of Delivery Operations, you will be accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while ensuring strong customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Own project scope, schedule and budget, delivering against contractual requirements and KONE objectives.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead integrated project planning with customers and KONE full‑chain teams.
• Monitor and control project deliverables, ensuring continuous full‑chain oversight.
• Conduct project start‑up, reviews, reporting and governance activities.
• Communicate project status and progress to KONE management and customers.
• Identify, mitigate and plan for operational and financial risks, including contingency and recovery actions.
• Oversee financial planning, forecasting, cash‑flow and revenue management.
• Drive quality handover from sales to operations and manage project close‑out activities.
• Maintain master action logs, lessons learned and ensure adequate resourcing and competencies.
• Lead the full‑chain project team and promote safety and security awareness among staff and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of project management experience, preferably in the elevator industry.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Excellent English and Arabic communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale projects successfully.
