Senior Project Manager – Elevators & Escalators

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of elevator and escalator projects for KONE in Dubai, ensuring scope, schedule and budget are controlled while driving customer satisfaction and profitability. Reporting to the Head of Delivery Operations Manager, you will coordinate all stakeholder interactions and apply KONE’s proven methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Own project scope, schedule and budget, delivering results within contractual requirements and KONE objectives.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and maintain proactive communication with customers.
• Integrate project planning with customers and KONE full‑chain teams.
• Monitor and control project deliverables, risks, cash flow and revenue.
• Lead project start‑up, reviews, reporting and governance activities.
• Communicate project status to KONE management and customers.
• Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks, and develop contingency plans.
• Oversee Sales‑to‑Operations handover, customer and maintenance handovers, and project close‑out.
• Maintain master action log, lessons‑learned documentation and ensure adequate resourcing.
• Lead the full‑chain project team and promote safety and security awareness among all personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of project management experience, preferably in the elevator industry.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Excellent English and Arabic communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large‑scale projects.
