Senior Project Manager – Greenfield Elastomer Plant

About the role

Petenco is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead delivery of a greenfield elastomer plant in the petrochemical sector at Al Ruwais, Abu Dhabi. You will be the single point of accountability for cost, schedule, quality, safety and start‑up, reporting directly to the CEO.

Key responsibilities

• Own scope, schedule, budget, quality, HSE and start‑up, establishing governance and reporting across all workstreams.
• Direct and supervise the EPC contractor, monitor performance, and manage the contractor‑licensor‑owner interface.
• Oversee FEED and detailed engineering, control design changes through disciplined change management.
• Maintain the master schedule and project budget using Primavera P6, cost control and earned value analysis.
• Administer the EPC contract, manage variations, claims and disputes, and keep complete contractual records.
• Supervise site execution, QA/QC and HSE performance, and independently verify progress.

Required profile

• Full‑time senior project management professional with experience on greenfield petrochemical or similar EPC projects.
• Ability to report to senior leadership and make decisions that protect the owner’s commercial position.
• Based in Abu Dhabi with significant time required on‑site at Al Ruwais.
