Senior Project Manager – Industrial Projects

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead industrial projects from award through to hand‑over, ensuring they meet the highest health, safety, and environmental standards while delivering on scope, quality, cost and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and apply project management policies, procedures and standards.
• Prepare and review project schedules, cost estimates and budgets for management approval.
• Control and monitor budget, schedule and quality throughout project execution.
• Establish project organization, manage manpower mobilization and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Select and pre‑qualify subcontractors and suppliers, evaluate bids and manage contracts.
• Define detailed statements of requirements, scope of work and implementation strategies.
• Monitor progress of internal teams and contractors, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Negotiate claims, variations and back‑charges with contractors and vendors.
• Identify cost‑saving and quality‑improvement opportunities and recommend actions to management.
• Approve contractual and financial commitments within delegated authority and ensure thorough inspections of all facilities.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale industrial projects from award to hand‑over.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise project teams.
• Deep knowledge of HSE standards and ability to enforce them on site.
• Excellent budgeting, scheduling and cost‑control capabilities.
• Experience in contractor and supplier management, including pre‑qualification and contract negotiation.
• Ability to develop detailed project documentation and implementation plans.
