Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a high‑impact, 12‑month programme in Dubai, focused on risk, regulatory and finance transformation for a Tier‑1 banking institution. The role requires strong governance, stakeholder alignment and the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into executable plans.

Key responsibilities

• Own the integrated programme plan, including scope, milestones, dependencies and resourcing.
• Run governance forums (SteerCo, working groups) and manage RAID, change control and decision logs.
• Coordinate cross‑functional workstreams across ERM/Risk, Finance, Treasury/ALM, Business and Technology.
• Track outcomes, benefits and quick‑wins with validated sign‑offs and evidence packs.
• Ensure regulator‑ and audit‑ready documentation, traceability and three‑lines‑of‑defence alignment.
• Lead third‑party and internal team coordination, and oversee hand‑over to BAU with training and runbooks.

Required profile

• 15‑20 years of experience leading large, cross‑functional programmes in banking or financial services.
• Proven delivery record in risk/regulatory or finance transformation (capital, RWA, Basel III/IV).
• Strong matrix leadership across risk, finance, treasury and technology functions.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s (MBA/MS) preferred.
• Project/programme certification (PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, SAFe) or equivalent senior delivery experience.
