Senior Project Manager

About the role

An experienced Project Manager is sought to lead projects from initiation through completion, delivering within approved scope, timelines, budgets and quality standards. The role coordinates cross-functional teams, manages risks and maintains effective governance to meet strategic and operational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, handover and closure.
• Develop business cases, project charters, schedules, budgets, resource plans, communication plans and risk registers.
• Define scope, deliverables, success criteria and outcomes with stakeholders.
• Track progress against milestones, budgets, quality standards and KPIs, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate internal teams, external partners and vendors, and manage dependencies and delivery commitments.
• Identify and manage risks, issues and changes, escalating matters needing management decisions.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies, governance requirements and approved project management frameworks.
• Facilitate project meetings and steering committees, providing dashboards, status reports and executive updates.
• Support procurement and vendor management, including RFP preparation, technical evaluations, contract administration and performance monitoring.
• Evaluate outcomes, track expected benefits and capture lessons learned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, Public Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 11 years of relevant experience in project management or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, cross-functional stakeholders, budgets and competing priorities.
• PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile or an equivalent professional certification preferred.
