Senior Project Surveyor – Post Contract

About the role

The Senior Project Surveyor (Post Contract) will lead key elements of site‑based post‑contract delivery for large‑scale building projects in Abu Dhabi. The role requires both autonomous decision‑making and close collaboration with design, client and construction teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating claims and preparing financial updates, monthly cost reports, and earned value reports.
• Assess progress payments, change requests, and variation orders, negotiating with contractors and subcontractors.
• Prepare, review, and update cash‑flow forecasts and final account settlements.
• Review scopes of work, production rates, and cost data to ensure accurate budgeting.
• Integrate with design and client teams to support procurement, tendering and contract administration.
• Maintain high professional standards in all client and stakeholder interactions.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience on large‑scale building projects.
• QS or Engineering degree (MRICS desirable).
• Proven experience with FIDIC contracts and commercial team environments.
• Strong ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of FIDIC contract clauses.
• Cost and contract management techniques, including budget management and change control.
• Proficiency with cost‑management software programs.
• High level of English literacy for accurate reporting and presentation.
• Computer literacy with standard office applications.
