Senior QA/QC Engineer – MEP Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer to lead quality assurance and control activities on large‑scale MEP construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring compliance with project specifications, international codes, and client requirements while managing inspections, testing, and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan in coordination with the QA/QC Manager.
• Prepare, review and update Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements and related QA/QC documents.
• Conduct inspections of mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations and verify material compliance.
• Issue, track and close Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients and subcontractors.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of measuring and testing equipment.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and close audit findings.
• Maintain comprehensive QA/QC records, reports and hand‑over documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in MEP construction, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
• Experience on industrial, commercial, warehouse, infrastructure or large‑scale building projects.
• Strong knowledge of international quality standards and construction specifications.
