Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial and quantity surveying activities on major infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure accurate measurement, payments, variations and claims while working closely with project stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Measure and verify quantities, maintain quantity/cost records, and support commercial reporting.
• Review contractor payment applications and prepare interim payment certificates.
• Evaluate unit rates for new items, manage dayworks records, and support cost control activities.
• Prepare, assess, and administer variations, claims and change orders; support entitlement evaluation.
• Coordinate with project teams and contractors on commercial matters and maintain documentation for final account close‑out.
• Support negotiation and preparation of claim/variation settlements and assist with final account preparation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in quantity surveying and contract administration on major infrastructure projects, preferably in the UAE.
