Senior Recruiter - Retail

About the role

A retail company based in Dubai is looking for a results-driven Senior Recruiter with mandatory experience in the retail industry. The role leads the full-cycle recruitment process and supports business growth across departments and GCC markets, building a strong talent pipeline and attracting and retaining high-calibre professionals. The recruiter manages end-to-end recruitment across the GCC and works closely with hiring managers to forecast manpower needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for all GCC markets.
• Forecast hiring needs and support workforce planning by department and country.
• Develop and update job descriptions and candidate evaluation questionnaires.
• Design and implement recruitment strategies to meet hiring goals.
• Sourcing candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, social media and professional networks.
• Screen resumes, shortlist candidates and coordinate in-person, virtual and telephone interviews.
• Evaluate applicants' qualifications, experience and cultural fit, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand requirements and refine selection criteria.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5-6 years of proven recruitment experience, in-house or with a recruitment agency.
• Retail recruitment experience is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Willingness to travel within GCC countries as required; immediate joiners given priority.

• Excellent organisational skills, handling multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-driven, result-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
