Senior Relationship Banking Officer

About the role

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) is hiring a Senior Relationship Banking Officer within its Group Business Services (GBS) team. The role provides advanced servicing and advisory support to high-value, priority or complex customers, and covers complex transactions, compliance and risk awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced servicing and advisory support to high-value, priority or complex customers, assessing their financial needs and resolving requests across financial and non-financial transactions.
• Take ownership of escalated customer cases, coordinating resolution with stakeholders and balancing customer expectations, risk requirements and service standards.
• Perform and support complex cash and non-cash transactions within delegated authority, acting as a checking and escalation point for sensitive transactions, overrides and exceptions.
• Apply KYC, AML, sanctions and other regulatory requirements to complex, high-value or sensitive activities, and escalate exceptions or elevated-risk cases.
• Review records, identify emerging risk trends or control weaknesses and report on suspicious activities, incidents or breaches.
• Follow all organizational policies, procedures and service standards, and manage yourself in line with the bank's people management practices.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of experience in branch banking, retail banking operations or customer servicing, with exposure to complex or high-value transactions, priority customers, escalations and regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics or a related discipline.
• Experience in branch banking operations, complex cash and non-cash transaction processing, customer relationship management, retail banking products and services, operational risk awareness (including KYC and AML), banking systems and digital channels.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Interpersonal, multitasking and time management skills.
