Senior Relationship Manager – Corporate Coverage

About the role

The Senior Relationship Manager will build and manage relationships with medium to large corporate and institutional clients in the UAE. The role focuses on customer acquisition, retention and generating income through the bank’s asset, liability and cash‑management products.

Key responsibilities

• Understand client needs and develop tailored plans.
• Promote high‑quality sales and marketing standards for bank products and services.
• Assess market conditions, monitor competitors and identify new business opportunities.
• Penetrate new markets and business segments to acquire new customers.
• Evaluate existing and potential accounts and cross‑sell assets, liabilities, cash‑management and treasury products.
• Prepare strategic screening memos for credit facilities and assist Middle Office with credit approval packages.
• Manage complex relationships independently while supervising junior staff.
• Take proactive actions on early signs of problematic accounts to protect the bank’s interests.
• Coordinate with Middle Office to deliver high‑quality client service and handle queries promptly.
• Conduct annual reviews and interim updates of business relationships.
• Maintain effective relationships with internal functions and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with KYC, AML and Central Bank of UAE requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field (required).
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5‑6 years of banking experience, including at least 3 years in a similar relationship‑management role.
