Senior Reservoir Management Engineer

About the role

ADNOC Group is seeking a Senior Reservoir Management Engineer to provide expert engineering input for multidisciplinary projects, including field development planning and reservoir performance analysis. The role will lead studies to optimise production and injection capacities across its Abu Dhabi assets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of reservoir management, from field development and performance evaluation to well prognosis and asset integration.
• Develop and implement workflows that align with industry best practices, using advanced reservoir engineering techniques and both dynamic and static data.
• Govern production and injection capacities in line with company objectives and drilling schedules, identifying mitigations for shortfalls.
• Design and lead pattern‑balancing initiatives to ensure efficient production and injection processes.
• Lead well‑sector and full‑field performance reviews and oversee surveillance programmes such as pressure transient surveys, tracer surveys, interference testing, observation‑well placement and cased‑hole logging.
• Provide expertise for reservoir studies employing simulation, material‑balance, and decline‑curve analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Reservoir, Petroleum or Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in reservoir engineering, including field development management and full‑field simulation studies.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver optimisation plans that maximise profitable recovery.
