Senior Sales Engineer

About the role

WATER ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIES FZC is seeking a motivated Senior Sales Engineer to expand its water and wastewater treatment business in Sharjah and across the UAE. The role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to identify opportunities, present solutions, and close contracts while ensuring seamless project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and generate new business through multiple channels.
• Identify and develop opportunities for water and wastewater treatment solutions, maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
• Understand customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions.
• Conduct client meetings, technical presentations, negotiations, and product demonstrations.
• Participate in exhibitions, industry events, and promotional activities.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Service teams for successful project execution and after‑sales support.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, monitor pipeline progress, and report to senior management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Visit client sites across the UAE to monitor project progress.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in sales of water or wastewater treatment solutions.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Customer‑focused attitude with strong relationship‑building capabilities.

Required skills

• Technical solution‑selling for water and wastewater treatment.
• Use of CRM systems for pipeline management.
• Ability to conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations.
