Senior Sales Manager CIS - Leisure

About the role

Raffles The Palm, a luxury resort on Palm Jumeirah, is hiring a Senior Sales Manager, CIS - Leisure. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Sales / Director of Sales, the role oversees the performance and development of CIS market accounts by monitoring production, analysing market trends, spotting new business opportunities and applying targeted sales strategies to grow revenue and market share. It also builds and maintains long-term relationships with key corporate, leisure, wholesale, travel trade and strategic partner accounts, locally and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Help prepare the yearly revenue and expense budget and support the department's financial and administrative activities
• Prepare sales call schedules, call reports and monthly reports, and take part in sales action plans, special packages and promotions
• Work with the sales team on personal sales goals and monthly analysis
• Respond to inquiries within 24 hours, set up appointments, make sales calls, telemarketing and site visits, and entertain decision-makers
• Negotiate offers and contracts for individual and group business and follow up on lost business
• Plan business trips to key source markets and attend international fairs and roadshows
• Maintain the customer database in OPERA and keep clients informed of hotel developments
• Assist the credit department with outstanding balances and build relations with regional and global Accor sales offices

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a sales position, preferably at an international 5-star hotel
• Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or Business Administration
• Fluency in Russian, written and spoken, is a must; fluency in English and other languages is preferred
• Understanding of the local culture and experience working in the region
• Good understanding of the luxury market and of all hotel departments

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of OPERA and Microsoft Office
• Professional sales and presentation skills, strong written and verbal communication
• Leadership, problem-solving and organisational planning skills
