Senior Sales Manager - MICE

About the role

Novotel and ibis World Trade Centre and ibis One Central Dubai are seeking a commercially driven Senior Sales Manager - MICE to develop and grow the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions segment across the three properties. The role works across the Dubai World Trade Centre and One Central environments, building strategic relationships with corporate clients, exhibition organisers, PCOs, event management companies, DMCs and delegates, and delivering long-term commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet MICE revenue targets, and identify and secure new business, especially exhibitions, trade events, congresses and conferences linked to DWTC and the wider Dubai market.
• Proactively develop business during non-exhibition periods to balance occupancy and revenue across the three properties.
• Build business plans and account strategies for key clients, event organisers, PCOs, event agencies, DMCs and corporate accounts, and grow existing accounts and share of wallet.
• Build a healthy sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, client meetings, site inspections and follow-up, and coordinate with the commercial team to position the right hotel and offering for each client.
• Manage assigned accounts, run account reviews, prepare proposals, quotations and contracts, and work with Revenue Management on demand, pricing and displacement.
• Monitor MICE performance (pipeline, conversion, production, account contribution) and maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM data and pipeline reports.
• Coordinate with Revenue Management, Reservations, Front Office, Food & Beverage, Events and Marketing, attend events and represent the cluster professionally at industry functions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and the DWTC exhibition calendar to spot opportunities and risks.
