Senior Site Engineer – Construction Supervision

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Site Engineer to manage and supervise day‑to‑day site activities, ensuring construction works are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities, monitor progress against the programme and resolve technical issues on site.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with drawings, method statements and quality standards.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements are met and promote a strong safety culture.
• Manage material procurement, storage and usage while minimizing waste.
• Maintain accurate site records, daily reports and project documentation for the Project Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of construction/site experience, preferably with a main contractor in the UAE/GCC.
• Proven experience supervising large‑scale building, infrastructure or mixed‑use projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications and UAE construction standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Project scheduling and progress monitoring.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and documentation.
• Understanding of HSE regulations and safe work practices.
• Familiarity with UAE construction codes and project management/document control systems.
