Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in full‑stack development to drive our enterprise Digital Products and Assisted Banking initiatives. The role combines strong front‑end and back‑end engineering, modern development practices, and the use of AI‑assisted tools to boost productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full‑stack applications using Node.js and React JS.
• Build secure, high‑performance RESTful APIs and micro‑services.
• Create responsive, reusable UI components with React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Leverage AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor to accelerate development.
• Write clean, well‑tested, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, designers, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance optimisation, and production issue resolution.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation workflows, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise‑grade web applications.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile product teams.

Required skills

• Node.js (Express.js, NestJS or similar)
• React JS (Hooks, component architecture, state management, responsive UI)
• TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Design and implementation of RESTful APIs and micro‑services

• Prompt engineering concepts for development workflows
• SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
