Senior Solar Procurement Expert

About the role

Masdar is seeking a Senior Solar Procurement Expert to lead the purchasing activities for its solar energy projects. The role ensures timely, cost‑effective acquisition of equipment while complying with corporate policies and delivering long‑term value.

Key responsibilities

• Administer end‑to‑end procurement processes, from RFQ preparation to contract award, for major solar equipment such as PV modules, inverters and trackers.
• Negotiate commercial terms, manage purchase orders and oversee logistics to optimise transportation and warehousing.
• Coordinate with engineering, legal and project teams to develop and finalise supply contracts and term sheets.
• Maintain qualification records for equipment manufacturers and ensure compliance with quality standards and local content requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, service levels and cost forecasts to support project schedules and budgets.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (MBA or related) or Bachelor’s in engineering, business administration or finance.
• 5‑7 years of procurement experience for renewable‑energy projects, including PV solar and wind EPC works.
• 2‑3 years of experience in EPC contracting for renewable energy.

Required skills
