Senior Structural Design Engineer

About the role

ATI Consultants is seeking a Senior Structural Design Engineer to join its Sharjah office. The role involves leading structural design, analysis and calculations for complex projects, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out structural design and engineering calculations for concrete, steel and other systems from concept through to tender and construction documentation.
• Coordinate closely with architectural, MEP and other project teams to integrate designs and resolve interface issues.
• Prepare and organise structural drawings, specifications, calculations, reports and other technical documentation.
• Review and check design calculations, drawings and documents for technical accuracy and compliance with authority requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience delivering complex high‑profile projects in an international design consultancy, with at least 5 years in the UAE.
• Sharjah Municipality Unlimited License holder.

Required skills

• High proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, Prokon, Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, standards and fundamental engineering principles.
