Senior Supervisor, Material QC

About the role

As a Material QC Senior Supervisor at EDGE, you will lead quality control activities across incoming materials, in‑process inspections, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements. Working closely with Production, Procurement, and Engineering teams, you will oversee inspection processes, support continuous improvement initiatives, and drive operational excellence across manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead material inspection, testing, and quality control activities for incoming, in‑process, and finished products.
• Review and approve inspection records, test reports, and ERP quality transactions.
• Oversee calibration and traceability of measuring and testing equipment.
• Investigate non‑conformities, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and develop quality inspection teams while ensuring compliance with IMS, QMS, and HSE requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001), inspection methods, and ERP systems.
• Proven experience leading quality inspection activities and teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
