Senior System Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior System Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of our Microsoft 365 and related infrastructure. The role is based in Dubai on a one‑year renewable contract and focuses on securing and optimizing hybrid cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Intune.
• Manage Exchange Server, Exchange Online and hybrid messaging environments.
• Oversee Entra ID (Azure AD), Azure AD Connect, MFA, Conditional Access and enterprise applications.
• Support MDM/MAM solutions, primarily Microsoft Intune.
• Maintain PKI/CA infrastructure, AD CS, SSL certificates and lifecycle management.
• Configure and monitor email security platforms such as EOP, Defender for O365, SMTP gateways, SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
• Provide expertise on Trellix security products and endpoint protection initiatives.
• Manage Infoblox DNS and related DNS services.
• Apply security patches, perform upgrades, optimise performance and design disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Lead mailbox migrations, Microsoft 365 transformation projects and hybrid cloud initiatives.
• Deliver L3 support, incident management, vendor coordination and stakeholder communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Messaging Administrator Associate, Enterprise Administrator Expert, Identity and Access Administrator Associate).
• Proven experience with enterprise‑scale Microsoft 365 and hybrid cloud deployments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication abilities.
• Effective stakeholder and vendor management skills.
