Senior Technical Designer – Interior Architecture

About the role

Transguard Group is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Designer with a strong background in interior design or architecture, preferably from an interior design consultancy. The role involves delivering high‑end hospitality, luxury residential, and premium mixed‑use projects from concept through to handover.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review detailed technical drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, joinery details and construction documentation.
• Produce and manage comprehensive Issued for Construction (IFC) drawing packages and ensure drawing accuracy and document control.
• Coordinate with interior designers, architects, structural engineers and MEP consultants to resolve clashes and ensure design alignment.
• Conduct site visits, inspections and support contractors, resolving technical issues and monitoring construction quality.
• Ensure compliance with local building regulations, authority requirements and health & safety guidelines.
• Support project close‑out activities, snagging, handover and compilation of as‑built documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the UAE, preferably within an interior design or architectural consultancy.
• Proven portfolio of five‑star hospitality, luxury residential, high‑end mixed‑use or premium commercial projects.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong working knowledge of Revit and BIM coordination.
• Experience with SketchUp and visualization tools (advantageous).
