Senior Technical Manager – Civil Construction

About the role

Meraki Integrated Contracting is looking for a Senior Technical Manager to lead civil and structural engineering projects across the UAE. The role focuses on managing project documentation, ensuring technical compliance, and coordinating with consultants, contractors and internal teams to keep projects on schedule and within quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and comment on pre‑qualification documents, material submittals, shop drawings, design calculations and method statements.
• Manage engineering submission logs, material submittal logs, RFI logs and rebar call‑off logs to ensure alignment with the baseline programme.
• Coordinate with consultants, project managers, construction teams, procurement, QA/QC and MEP teams to resolve technical issues promptly.
• Prepare and evaluate technical packages, compliance documents and value‑engineering proposals for procurement and subcontractor selection.
• Conduct site visits to monitor technical compliance, address construction issues and provide practical solutions.
• Lead the technical team, schedule KPI reviews and ensure timely delivery of as‑built drawings, O&M manuals and hand‑over documents.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in commercial, residential or mixed‑use building projects, with at least 8 years in the UAE.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; a Master’s in Structural Engineering is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver technical deliverables without delay.
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority requirements (Dubai Municipality, DDA, DCD, RTA, etc.).
