Senior Technical Services Engineer – IFE & Connectivity

About the role

Emirates is seeking a Senior Technical Services Engineer to lead the Cabin / Technical Services team responsible for In‑Flight Entertainment (IFE) and connectivity systems. The role ensures fleet technical management, continuing airworthiness, and compliance with regulatory standards while driving safety, reliability and passenger comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Cabin and Technical Services personnel across airframe, structures, avionics, powerplant and cabin interior sections.
• Define and monitor sectional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and allocate resources to meet operational priorities.
• Escalate high‑risk technical issues and implement corrective actions to improve fleet, engine and component reliability.
• Oversee technical verification and approval of internal engineering documents in line with manufacturer and regulatory guidance.
• Approve and drive optimisation of aircraft maintenance programmes based on in‑service data.
• Exercise Part 21 Design Organisation privileges, performing design activities as directed by the Head of Design.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of experience in aircraft technical services, maintenance engineering or related fields.
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, continuing airworthiness management and aircraft systems.
• Ability to analyse in‑service data and implement reliability‑focused improvements.
