Senior Trade Compliance Manager

About the role

Honeywell Technologies is looking for a Senior Trade Compliance Manager in Dubai to lead trade compliance activities across the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META) region. The role covers customs-related controls, export controls and internal trade compliance processes, ensuring business transactions comply with applicable regulations and internal policies while guiding operational and commercial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Middle East Trade Compliance Team and manage import and export compliance across the META region
• Oversee customs and import processes, including tariff classification, country of origin, valuation, documentation accuracy, broker management and import recordkeeping
• Review and approve import and export documentation for compliant shipments and accurate customs declarations
• Partner with logistics, supply chain, sales and business teams to resolve customs clearance issues, export holds, shipment delays and compliance questions
• Develop, maintain and improve regional trade compliance procedures, controls and work instructions
• Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders on import/export transactions
• Support internal compliance reviews, audits and corrective actions
• Maintain accurate trade compliance records and deliver training on customs, export controls and sanctions compliance

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics or a related field, or commensurate experience
• 3-5 years of experience in trade compliance, logistics or export controls
• Experience in a multinational environment preferred; exposure to the META region is a plus
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus

Required skills

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of META customs and export control regulations
• Familiarity with international shipping and trade processes
• Experience using SAP
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to work cross-functionally
