Senior Transportation Planner

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Senior Transportation Planner to lead transportation planning studies and support authority submissions in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering master plans, impact studies, and corridor assessments while ensuring practical, implementable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct transportation master plans, transport impact studies, and corridor assessments.
• Perform operational analysis for intersections, road segments, and interchanges using tools such as SYNCHRO, VISSIM, and HCS.
• Support travel demand modelling activities and interpret outputs to inform recommendations.
• Apply highway design knowledge to develop feasible planning solutions.
• Prepare and submit transportation studies for Abu Dhabi ITC.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in transportation planning or traffic engineering.
• Strong report writing and presentation abilities.
• Hands‑on experience with transportation studies and Abu Dhabi authority submissions.
