Senior Travel and Ticketing Officer

About the role

VOLO Travels is seeking a Senior Travel and Ticketing Officer to support the Ticketing Manager in overseeing daily ticketing operations. You will ensure smooth travel arrangements for offshore crew, employees, and management staff in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Ticketing Manager with day‑to‑day department operations.
• Handle large volumes of flight, hotel, and travel bookings for crew, staff, and executives.
• Coordinate with the Crewing Department to issue and modify crew travel based on operational schedules.
• Process ticketing inquiries, rebookings, cancellations, refunds, and urgent travel requests.
• Monitor booking accuracy, fare compliance, and cost‑effective travel in line with company policies.
• Supervise ticketing staff to maintain service quality and procedural adherence.
• Ensure timely issuance of tickets and travel documents while keeping accurate records.
• Support IATA‑related processes, reporting, and compliance.
• Prepare operational and travel reports for management.
• Resolve issues with airlines, travel partners, and internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Tourism or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of travel and ticketing experience, preferably in marine or offshore sectors.
• Strong ability to work under pressure, manage multiple urgent requests, and maintain accuracy.
• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
