Senior Treasury Analyst

About the role

The Senior Treasury Analyst will strengthen McDermott’s treasury discipline by applying best practices and deep knowledge of banking and treasury operations. Acting as a mentor for less‑experienced colleagues, the role solves complex treasury issues and ensures compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate between the commercial/bids team and corporate treasury for bank guarantee text review and approval.
• Arrange bank support letters and liaise with banks for guarantee issuance.
• Identify opportunities for new credit lines with prospect banks.
• Maintain regular updates with existing banks for annual facility renewals.
• Prepare monthly outstanding bank guarantee reports and quarterly forecasts.
• Review and sign petty‑cash reimbursement claims and treasury receipt journals in line with SOX controls.
• Ensure SOX compliance for all treasury activities.
• Manage cash‑flow funding and address ad‑hoc treasury requirements.
• Liaise with corporate treasury, project accounting, commercial teams, banks and tax groups.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent internationally recognised qualification.
• 3‑6 years of post‑qualification experience in treasury or banking functions.
• Strong understanding of banking operations and treasury processes.
• Ability to multi‑task and meet tight reporting schedules.
