Senior UX Researcher

About the role

ADIB Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank is hiring a Senior UX Researcher in Abu Dhabi. The main purpose of the role is to support the design team with customer research and testing for digital products and services, working with Product Owners, engineers and designers to create, deliver and test digital banking products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute research plans aligned with project goals, timelines and stakeholder needs
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including interviews, surveys, usability testing and field studies
• Analyse research data to extract insights on user behaviour, needs, motivations and pain points
• Create user personas and journey maps to guide design and development
• Work with UX designers, product managers and developers to integrate research findings into product development
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels
• Stay up to date with UX research methodologies and tools, and ensure ethical research that respects user privacy and confidentiality
• Act as a voice of the user and measure the effectiveness of UX improvements over time through benchmarking

Required profile

• Experience in consumer-focused product companies delivering strong user experiences
• Ability to lead research projects in a growing, experimental environment
• Excellent English communication; Arabic is a plus
• User-focused design mentality and strong time management and self-direction
• Curiosity to learn and willingness to adapt to new challenges
