Senior Vice President – Treasury Front Office & Funding

About the role

The Senior Vice President – Treasury Front Office and Funding will lead Aldar Properties' treasury activities, focusing on funding, financial risk management, debt investor relations, ESG considerations and credit rating stewardship. Reporting to the Director of Treasury, this senior executive will shape the group’s liquidity strategy and ensure financial stability across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage annual credit rating reviews and ad‑hoc communications with rating agencies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to negotiate favourable debt, hedging and investment terms.
• Oversee funding and long‑term liquidity management to support credit ratings and shareholder value.
• Develop and nurture relationships with debt investors and sell‑side analysts.
• Identify, assess and mitigate interest‑rate and foreign‑exchange risks.
• Lead market research and analytics on macro variables, regulations and counter‑party credit risk.
• Provide ad‑hoc structuring advice to business units to improve returns, efficiency and risk profile.
• Design optimal capital structures and credit models in collaboration with Corporate Finance.
• Optimize investment of surplus cash while preserving liquidity and capital protection.
• Coordinate inter‑company funding solutions compliant with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• UAE national with at least 12 years of senior treasury, funding or risk‑management experience.
• Proven track record managing credit rating processes and bank relationships.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate market data into strategic decisions.
• Leadership experience guiding multidisciplinary treasury teams.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with investors, analysts and senior executives.
